Delivery via Common Carrier: If you receive deliveries via common carrier or United Parcel Service and your order has not arrived in a timely manner, please call our office and ask for Internet Customer Service. We will put a trace on your order and should have an answer for you within fifteen to twenty minutes.
Receiving your Delivery: Keep incoming products separate from other inventory and keep the shipment intact until all products have been checked in. To minimize problems that may occur during receiving, we recommend the following:
1. Your invoice is attached to one of the cartons in a large plastic pouch marked Invoice. Remove the invoice and inspect the cases to be sure that the descriptions agree with the descriptions on the invoice. Check the cases for visible signs of damage or pilfering. If a problem is evident, be sure to have the driver note the problem on his shipping document. Be sure also that the case count agrees with the case count on the bill of lading. If you have a problem with a shortage, be sure that the driver writes the shortage on the shipping document and that you are provided with a copy with the driver’s signature noting the shortage. Remember, this document is proof that you have received the cases counted and indicated.
2. Do not sign for any products that have not been checked and counted by you or your manager. Your signature on the bill of lading is our verification of a completed delivery. If you should have any problems with a driver, or need any assistance, call our office immediately before signing for the products, while the driver is still at your location.
3. Damaged or Missing Products: In order to expedite a claim with a carrier, we will need a copy of the shipping document which must contain a description of the product damage and the driver's signature. Please mail, scan and forward, or Fax a copy to our Internet Customer Service Department. Do not send us the original copy.
4. For Payment on Delivery: If C.O.D. is required and payment is not available, the merchandise must be returned to our distribution facility. The driver does not have the authority to leave any merchandise without full payment on a C.O.D. shipment. In some instances, the driver may be able to call his supervisor and arrange for a re-delivery of the merchandise. All common carriers have a nominal handling charge for re-delivery. Be sure to ask what the additional charge will be.
Shipping of Your Order We suggest that you check our Map of Distribution Areas in the Shipping Information section of our Web site. This section will let you know how your shipment will be delivered.
Shipment via Panza Truck: If your order is being shipped via common carrier or United Parcel, you should anticipate receiving your order within two to five working days. If your order is placed no later than 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) today, it will be picked and packed this evening and will leave our warehouse by noon tomorrow. All Common Carrier orders are shipped the quickest and least expensive way.
All Panza trucks are refrigerated and any combination of perishable and non-perishable products can be ordered for shipment on the same delivery. If your order is being shipped by Common Carrier or United Parcel, please be sure to not include any products, particularly candy toppings that may melt and stick together in transit. All orders are shipped "inside delivery". If there is a problem with the carrier or shipment when the driver arrives with your order, please contact us immediately at toll free (800) 423-2732 so that we can address the problem while the driver is still at your location.
